The Electronics Bench Technician will be responsible for hands‑on testing, troubleshooting, supporting, and repairing our customer products.

• Troubleshooting customers' products by a holistic approach to their system.
• Assisting the RMA team in deciding if a product needs to be returned to EG4.
• Assisting the technical support team in troubleshooting issues that appear to have a fault in the system.
• Working with the Applications Marketing team to define all required information needed to troubleshoot and repair customer products effectively.
• Working with the engineering team to test and evaluate new products to ensure they meet our customers' expectations.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs, including parts used, procedures performed, and test results.
• All other duties assigned.

• Ability to collaborate with our technical support and engineering teams.
• Ability to utilize past experiences to innovate on troubleshooting customer issues in the field.
• Ability to critically evaluate repairs to ensure the source of the problem.
• Ability to devise better ways to test and measure solar equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety protocols when working with electronic equipment.

• 2 – 4 years of experience in power electronics or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in electronics or a related field is a plus.

• This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting 50+ lbs, bending, stooping, computer work, working with live electricity, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
