Financial Analyst
The Business Analyst (Planning & Strategy) plays a key role in driving data‑driven decision‑making across the organization. This position is responsible for performance modeling, forecasting, performance reporting, and business insights that support strategic planning and operational execution. The analyst partners closely with cross‑functional teams—Finance, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and Leadership—to provide clear, actionable analytics that enhance both short‑term performance and long‑range planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, enhance, and maintain performance models, forecasts, and business performance dashboards.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting processes with detailed variance analysis and performance reporting.
- Analyze trends in revenue, margin, expenses, and operational metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and insights for senior leadership to support strategic decision‑making.
- Partner with business units to understand operational drivers and translate them into financial impact.
- Assist Controller and FP&A with long‑range strategic planning, budgeting, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation of reports and analyses.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems and models.
- All other duties assigned.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Collaborative mindset with strong business partnership skills.
- Proactive, intellectually curious, and capable of owning deliverables end‑to‑end.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, modeling), Power BI/Tableau, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, etc.).
- Solid understanding of financial statements and key business metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field required.
- 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, business planning, FP&A, or a related analytical role.
- Experience in multi‑unit, supply chain, retail, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 25+ lbs, computer work and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
