Reporting to the Sr. Director of Accounting and Tax, this individual will oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Produce error‑free accounting reports and present their results
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Develop, implement, and execute processes within the Inventory and Accounting Teams
• Lead and support a team of direct reports holding a high level of accountability
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
• Prepare and file tax returns
• Enter accounting related information into business logs
• Prepare documentation for external auditors
• Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
• Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
• Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors
• All other duties and projects as assigned

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
• Proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software

• Proven at least 5‑8 years of experience in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership position
