• Texas Certified Nurse Aide
• Minimum of 6 months experience
• Current certification for Medication Aide

• Perform all duties assigned in accordance with facility policies, nursing care procedures and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify resident identity before administering care or serving food.
• Ensure water clean, filled with fresh water and within resident reach.
• Perform additional duties as directed by charge nurse, RN supervisor, director of nurses or administrator.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

• Report promptly any change of patient condition or concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Report medication reorder.
• Participate in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in‑service sessions as required.
• Document inventory of drugs on appropriate forms.
