Qualifications- Texas Certified Nurse Aide
- Minimum of 6 months experience
- Current certification for Medication Aide
- Perform all duties assigned in accordance with facility policies, nursing care procedures and safety rules.
- Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer quality nursing care.
- Verify resident identity before administering care or serving food.
- Ensure water clean, filled with fresh water and within resident reach.
- Perform additional duties as directed by charge nurse, RN supervisor, director of nurses or administrator.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
- Previous patient care experience preferred.
- Report promptly any change of patient condition or concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
- Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
- Report medication reorder.
- Participate in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in‑service sessions as required.
- Document inventory of drugs on appropriate forms.
