Data Analyst, Data Science Manager
The Manager of Data Analytics oversees the collection, processing, and interpretation of large datasets to drive strategic decision‑making. This role involves managing a team of analysts, developing data‑driven strategies, and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with leadership skills to foster a data‑centric culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor a team of data analysts.
- Allocate resources and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement data analytics strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal standards.
- Oversee data collection, cleaning, and validation processes.
- Use statistical tools and advanced analytics to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management.
- Work cross‑functionally with marketing, finance, operations, and IT teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Maintain and optimize data systems and databases.
- Implement modern analytics techniques, including machine learning and predictive modeling.
- Develop training programs for junior analysts and promote best practices in data analysis.
- Perform other duties assigned.
- Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, and big data technologies.
- Knowledge of business operations, KPIs, and financial metrics.
- Certifications such as PMP, AWS, or BI‑related credentials are a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics is preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud platforms.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 25+ lbs, computer work and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
