• Assist in assessing potential hazards and develop a Confined Space Rescue Preplan and Rescue Safety Analysis (RSA).
• Identify and communicate hazards to all affected parties, determine hazard controls, and ensure required safety equipment and PPE are available and functional.
• Conduct general air‑quality monitoring and recommend hazard controls or PPE based on data.
• Lead daily job briefings with customers and workers.
• Monitor job conditions and equipment resources, reporting observations and safety recommendations to the supervisor.
• Complete daily Incident Command System (ICS) reports.
• In case of an accident, locate the patient, assess injuries, package for extrication, remove the patient from the threatening environment, and hand over to EMS for medical attention and transport.
• Render first aid and CPR to the level of current training.
• Follow handling, inspection, cleaning, and preventive‑maintenance guidelines for all rescue equipment to maintain constant readiness.
• Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of all rescue‑related equipment.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

• Minimum 40‑hour Rescue Technician certification (or at least 6 months of experience).
• Confined Space Entrant/Attendant Certification.
• Healthcare Provider CPR, First Aid with AED, and First Responder or better preferred.
• Haz‑whopper, 4‑Gas Monitor Operation Training, and knowledge of OSHA Atmospheric Limitation.
• Proven proficiency in rescue operations and ability to inspect, clean, and perform preventive maintenance on all rescue equipment.

The role combines office and field/production environments with exposure to wet/humid conditions and outside weather. Travel to customer sites 75% of the time is required.

High School diploma or GED.
