" "Manage and care for clients; recognize and attend to their needs. Recognize ethical and legal responsibilities. Perform a variety of clinical procedures and a variety of administrative duties.
" "Responsibilities

- Provide information, services, and assistance to clients and patients at PRIME on-site events and various PRIME Clinics. " "
- Maintain medical supplies inventory and perform preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating, including sterilization of medical instruments. " "
- Verify patient information and medical histories by interviewing patients, documenting medical history, and confirming purpose of visit. " "
- Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests such as drug & alcohol screening, audiograms, EKGs, pulmonary function tests, respirator fit tests; and reporting patient history summary. " "
- Saves doctors' time by helping with office procedures. " "
- Assist in injury care. " "
- Perform phlebotomy services and give injections. " "
- Secure patient information and maintain patient confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding. " "
- Update and file medical records according to State and Federal laws. " "
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations. " "
- Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt. " "
- Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance. " "
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications. " "
- Serve and protect the practice by adhering to professional standards, facility policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local requirements. " "

Education, Experience, And Licensing Requirements

- Must be a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or equivalent " "
- High school diploma or equivalent " "
- 2+ years of working experience as a Medical Assistant required " "
Physical Demands
" "Sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time, lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds. Repetitive motion. Extensive use of computers, copy machines, and keyboards. Substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal;
extensive reading. Work is performed in a medical clinic setting and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and carry parcels, packages, and other items, to walk short distances, climb stairs, and drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.
