Overview
Memory Care Unit Coordinator at Holly Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. This role involves ensuring the Thrive program is implemented daily and facilitated by Life Enrichment Coordinators, Life Enrichment Assistants, and the direct care team. The Memory Care Unit Coordinator provides general oversight of the Courtyard community in cooperation with the Administrator and Health Care Coordinator, and works closely with the Life Enrichment team and direct care staff to maintain a functional and appropriate program.
WhatWill You Do in This Role?
As a Memory Care Unit Coordinator, you are responsible for ensuring the Thrive program is implemented daily and facilitated by Life Enrichment Coordinators, Life Enrichment Assistants, and direct care team members. You will oversee the Courtyard community in cooperation with the Administrator and Health Care Coordinator and collaborate with the Life Enrichment team and direct care staff to ensure a suitable program.

- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Must have a minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, with at least one year of supervisory experience
- Prior background in senior living, social work, recreational therapy, or nursing preferred
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills required
- Must be able to demonstrate good judgement, prioritization of duties, and effective problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s progression in older adults required
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
