I.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
- Constructs and or repairs metal products either manually or by machine
II.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welds a range of metals including but not limited to mild steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, brass, die cast, chrome metal.
- Aware of safety regulations and must wear protective equipment to minimize heat and noise levels, and to guard against corrosive chemicals.
- Ability to read Blueprints and weld maps preferred.
- Ability to have all welds pass with QA/QC approval.
- Proper placement of stencils.
- Ability to follow all the Fabrication guidelines.
III.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pass a Weld Qualification Test
- Provide your own personal tool in a lockable toolbox
- Available for short - term travel
IV.
REPORTING REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Education or equivalent
- Possess a valid driver's license
V.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move and position objects and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk or otherwise move around on a continuous basis.
