Salesperson / Store Driver – Entry Level

Entry-level position supporting DIY automotive parts retail and commercial delivery. The role requires knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and delivery processes. Part time or full time positions are available. Fleet safety certification preferred.

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers via in-store visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve sales objectives.
• DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.

• Safely deliver parts to commercial customers as needed.
• Pick and stage parts for customer orders.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.

• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot).
• Handle general stocking including truck and back stock.
• Assist with inventory and store equipment operations.

• Basic driving and navigation ability.
• Proficiency with delivery board system and POS.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to locate, stock, and test parts.
• Safety knowledge and skills.
• Operating inventory systems and store equipment.

• Speak and write English;
  Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math accurately.
• Work varied hours, evenings, weekends as needed.
• Possess valid driver’s license and fleet safety certification.

• 2–3 years of sales experience in a retail environment providing superior customer experiences.
• Automotive parts experience preferred for driver role.
• Certificates, licenses, registrations as applicable.

Walking or standing most of the time; must lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally; requires normal vision and hearing.

Primarily indoor but occasional outdoor tasks; exposure to varying weather, mechanical parts, chemicals, and moderate noise.
