• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the gas industry.
• Prior experience operating Vermeer drills and performing drill locating.
• Knowledge of polyethylene fusion processes.
• Technical skills: proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and maps; strong understanding of underground utility locating and safety protocols; ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on HDD and fusion equipment.
• Education:
  
  high school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid driver/operator license.
• Willingness to travel as required for projects.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality standards, and teamwork.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and precision in operating equipment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
