Description

The Branch Manager will provide spectacular financial service to our clients and excellent leadership to our branch team.

Business Development
  • Ensure branch meets loan, deposit and referral goals.
  • Develop and build center of influence to generate new business leads in the community.
  • Participate in community organizations and activities to enhance Bank of Oak Ridge's presence in the local community.
  • Lead branch outreach and business development efforts. Assist and coach branch staff to contribute effectively.
Leadership
  • Ensure the branch is profitable through income generation, loan growth, deposit growth, expense management, and branch marketing efforts.
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching and supervision to branch staff.
  • Create a successful sales and service culture consistent with Bank of Oak Ridge values and philosophies.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings focused on sales, service and product training.
Compliance
  • Comply with Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering federal regulations and guidelines, internal bank policies, and complete annual training requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum education level of HS diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a banking or financial services role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in lending.
  • Management and team leadership experience required. Prior experience as a financial service branch manager preferred.
  • Knowledge of Bank operations, products, services, state and federal laws and regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
