Laboratory Technician

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control team. This role ensures that all finished products meet ADL’s quality standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. Location: ADL Water St., 79 Water St., Summerside, PE

Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour

• Conduct routine lab tests to monitor product quality
• Maintain records of raw materials, production, and test results
• Perform microbiological and chemical testing on dairy products
• Prepare and ship lab samples for external analysis
• Ensure proper handling and storage of lab supplies
• Verify production reports and assist in inventory checks
• Follow safety and quality standards in all lab activities
• Support product development and troubleshooting as needed

• Experience in a lab or food production setting is preferred
• Basic understanding of lab procedures, measurements, and documentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, email)
• Willingness to complete necessary training and adhere to safety standards
