Job Summary
Trident Health and Summerville Medical Center are looking for an OBGYN to join their Summerville Women's Care practice in Summerville, South Carolina.
Qualifications- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- South Carolina license or the ability to obtain one prior to starting
- Provide obstetrics and gynecology care as part of the Summerville Women's Care practice
- Maintain a call schedule: 1 set call day per week with 1:6 night call (home call) and average 1:6 weekend call coverage with Full Time OB Hospitalist support
- Potential for involvement with the OB/GYN residency program

Summerville Medical Center has invested in growing the hospital’s women’s and pediatric care to provide high-quality care close to home. The facility offers a women’s and neonatal tower with 30 postpartum private rooms, 12 labor and delivery rooms, a 6-bed Level III NICU, and 7 special care nursery beds. The Trident Health system consolidated obstetric and neonatal care at Summerville Medical Center in 2019.
It also offers a high-risk obstetric Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic, a comprehensive breast health program at the Summerville Breast Center, and pediatric subspecialty programs, along with a pediatric ER, inpatient unit, and ICU.
