Job Purpose: As a Reading Coach, you will provide training and support to teachers and assist with Reading program implementation. You will conduct staff development, perform classroom visitations, collect and report student data, and monitor program progress.

• Develop and conduct in‑service training for Reading teachers on program, instructional strategies, and best practices.
• Perform classroom visitations, assist teachers in improving instructional performance, and monitor improvement.
• Demonstrate lessons for observation by teachers.
• Coordinate student testing and Reading schedules with existing instructional programs.
• Monitor student progress and serve as a resource to administrators and content area teachers in identifying reading needs, adapting instructional techniques, and implementing the Reading program.
• Assist with development of school literacy teams.
• Collect and report student data.
• Maintain effective liaisons with district and professional associations to stay current with Reading best practices.

• Demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to CSUSA’s mission and values.
• Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
• Ability to guide and train teachers in effective instructional techniques.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, students, parents, and administrators.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Student Information System (SIS).
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local K–12 and charter school laws.

• Master’s degree and eligibility for Florida teaching certification.
• Evidence of leadership in school activities.
• Reading Specialist Certification.
• Excellent instructional and communication skills.

• Usual office working conditions.

• No physical exertion required.
• Travel within or outside the state.
• Light work: occasional exertion up to 20 pounds or up to 10 pounds frequently.
