Job Description Summary
Serve as a Program Coordinator I who provides technical and professional services within MUSC Children's Health. The position will assist the Program Manager, Principal Investigators (PI), and other research assistants involved in the coordination of human subject activities as delegated by the Program Manager and PI.

Job Description
This position will participate in the day-to-day operations in clinical research and perform job duties under general supervision. They will perform a variety of research assessments and serve as a liaison for the study across stakeholders. They will have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of research best practices and regulations, and they will have the ability to apply these concepts in order to determine action plans.
Responsibilities include:
- Site management and navigating study implementation of clinical trials
- Recruitment of study participants
- Scheduling study visits
- Data collection
- Lab collection and processing
- Conducting research protocols and assessments
- Maintaining up-to-date regulatory files
This position will be required to work on-site but will be eligible to work from other times and may be required to work weekends.
Qualifications (Education & Experience)
- A Bachelor's degree and one year work experience; or high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2 to 4 years research experience.
