Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital – Summerville, SC
Full time;
Monday – Friday with every 4th weekend rotation
50‑bed hospital currently growing to 100 beds

Sole dietitian to cover medical‑surgical units, a mother‑/baby unit, a stepdown unit, and an ICU. New graduates are welcome. Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

• Provide medical nutrition therapy: nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and patient‑specific interventions.
• Follow Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
• Comply with federal, state, and accrediting agency standards, HIPAA, and patient rights.
• Train, mentor, and support patient services staff and interns.
• Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

• Registered Dietitian credential by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Licensed by the State dietetics licensing/credentialing board, where required.
• One (1) year of hospital experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
