Summit, NJ — Overlook Medical Center is a 350-bed hospital offering a wide array of advanced services including neurodiagnostic, neurological, and neurosurgical care. The site features a certified Level IV Epilepsy Center and is a hub for the New Jersey Stroke Network and a regional leader in neuroscience care through the Atlantic Neuroscience Institute. The Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center operates on campus, with many brain tumor surgeries performed locally.

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Provide medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain during surgery and other procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtain and/or verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient; manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patient’s physiological condition
• Perform clinical interventions as needed

• M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician

• Compensation: $580K (full-time, call)
