Our client is a well-established and respected manufacturer’s representative firm specializing in HVAC systems and building solutions. They partner with leading manufacturers to deliver innovative, energy-efficient equipment to engineers, contractors, and building owners. Their team is passionate about building relationships, solving technical challenges, and helping clients achieve success through smarter, more efficient mechanical systems.
Executive management is actively seeking a results-driven and technically skilled HVAC Sales Engineer to join this growing team. This individual will identify customer needs, develop customized HVAC solutions, and drive sales of equipment and systems across commercial and industrial projects. The role blends technical expertise with customer relationship management. This is a full-time, permanent staff role, reporting to the sales manager & executive leadership.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, contractors, and building owners.
- Evaluate project requirements and propose tailored HVAC solutions.
- Prepare and present technical proposals and system designs that highlight performance and energy savings.
- Provide technical support and application guidance throughout the sales process.
- Estimate project costs, prepare quotes, and assist with contract negotiation and closeout.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with market trends, competitors, and emerging HVAC technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
- Approximately 1–5+ years of experience in HVAC sales, applications engineering, or system design.
- Strong understanding of commercial/industrial HVAC systems (HVAC Equipment, chillers, VRF, air handlers, ventilation, BAS controls).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Highly self-motivated and organized; able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Base salary + performance-based commission
