$58.56/hr – $103.06/hr

• Review patient profiles to assure safe and effective medication therapy
• Responsible for dispensing of medications, monitoring and reporting drug safety based on current clinical and institutional guidelines, as well as patient‑specific criteria
• Oversees technician practice/activities as per regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for mediation storage and documentation
• Actively participates in clinical services (e.g., steward ships, cost‑effective, patient experience)
• Adheres to safety requirements in the handling and preparation of sterile and non‑sterile medications and other hazardous agents (e.g., oncology) according to current guidelines (USP 797, USP 800, ASHP, NIOSH)
• Communicates effectively and appropriately with healthcare providers and caregivers and assures continuity of pharmaceutical care between shifts and among team members
• Participates in the training, education and mentoring of other pharmacists and technicians
• Participates in quality, safety and other project work related to medication management

• Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy required
• Current active registration and licensure with the State of New Jersey Board of Pharmacy required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience (2+ years) preferred
