Job DescriptionResponsible for the preparation, documentation, and quality assurance of individualized IMRT treatment plans by using knowledge of anatomy, physiology, malignant tumors, critical structures, and tolerance levels of all sites of the body.
Principal Accountabilities- Conduct examinations with diagnostic equipment and determine equipment setting for each procedure.
- Perform and calculate the radiation dose and location, and the energy level of the beam.
- Present isodose plans in detail with OARs and target volume doses to the Radiation Oncologist.
- Plan and produce molds, casts, and other immobilization devices.
- Monitor and record radiation treatment.
- Create and maintain records of treatment plans and outcomes. Work in clinical research (documentation, credentialing) and receive continuing education, as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry or related field.
- 3 years’ experience in dosimetry or relevant area.
- Certification in medical dosimetry by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board.
- 3‑5 years’ experience in dosimetry or relevant area.
- Certification in CMD or ARRT Radiation Therapy and BLS.
