Location: Summit, NJ (with multiple US office locations possible)
Salary: $190,000 base + discretionary bonus + retirement contribution

Role Overview:As Lead Mar Tech IT Architect, you will lead marketing technology architecture projects, guiding clients in selecting, integrating, and optimizing Mar Tech tools (CRM, CDP, Marketing automation, etc.). You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and manage junior team members, while driving innovation and IT transformation.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Mar Tech architecture and solution design for marketing tech platforms.
- Recommend best-fit marketing technologies (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hub Spot, Adobe Experience Cloud, etc.).
- Design integrations with enterprise platforms (CMS, Analytics, Automation).
- Conduct feasibility studies, proofs of concept, and scale solutions.
- Support IT transformation, process optimization, and post-merger IT integration.
- Manage project work modules and provide quality assurance on deliverables.
- Present and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executives.
- Mentor and manage junior team members, fostering growth and quality output.
- Drive innovation and assist in business development efforts (proposals, scoping).
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in IT, marketing, business, or related field.
- 6+ years in technology consulting/software engineering, with 3+ years in IT architecture.
- Proficiency with Mar Tech platforms (Salesforce, Hub Spot, Adobe, Google Analytics, automation tools).
- Deep understanding of marketing platforms, cloud technologies, integration patterns, data architectures (Data Lake, Warehouse), AI/GenAI, and automation (Dev Ops, AIOps).
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
- Agile mindset and ability to handle ambiguous, complex challenges.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
