In this position you’ll handle the entire manufacturing lifecycle of human blood‑derived components—from selection and activation to transduction, cell culture, harvest and cryopreservation—within a cGMP clean‑room environment under the guidance of Manufacturing Management.

• Quad 2:
  Sunday – Wednesday (optionally Wednesday off)
• On‑site night shift, 5 p.m. – 5:30 a.m.

• Produce blood component lots through selection, activation, transduction, cell culture, harvest, and cryopreservation.
• Apply aseptic technique for most activities including tube welding, connections, and transfers.
• Weigh and measure in‑process materials to ensure proper quantities are added or removed.
• Adhere to the production schedule to ensure on‑time internal logistics.
• Record production data and information in a clear, concise format per GDocPs.
• Work in a team‑based, cross‑functional environment to complete tasks required by the shift schedule.
• Demonstrate motivation and team consciousness to fulfill job requirements.
• No direct reports are assigned to this role.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• Basic understanding of cell culture, cryopreservation, purification, and aseptic processing or laboratory technique.
• General understanding of cGMP/FDA regulated industry.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Technical writing capability.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Background in biology, chemistry, medical or clinical practices.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• or Associate/Medical Technical degree and 2 years of Manufacturing experience.
• or Operations experience or high school diploma/GED and 4 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience.

• Intermittent walking, standing, and sitting; ability to stand for extended periods may be required.
• Physical dexterity sufficient to use pipettes, laboratory equipment, computers, and documentation.
• Sufficient vision and hearing capability for the job environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must work in laboratories and controlled, enclosed, restricted areas.
• Cleanroom garments and personal protective equipment (PPE) required in designated areas.
• Prohibition of jewelry, makeup, gum, nail polish, perfume, or other potential microbial sources in restricted areas.
• Flexibility to don cleanroom garments and PPE as needed.
• Exposure to sanitization agents, reagents, chemicals, and human blood components expected.
• Restricted areas prohibit food and outside materials such as cell phones and tablets.

Summit West – NJ – US $27.83 – $33.72 per hour. The starting compensation is listed above for a full‑time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
