• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $ per week

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
• BLS certification (required)
• CNOR certification (preferred for perioperative nurses)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments throughout the perioperative continuum (pediatric to geriatric)
• Deliver direct and safe nursing care during surgical procedures, supporting patient safety and positive outcomes
• Demonstrate proficiency with emergency equipment and perioperative protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, surgical interventions, and progress
• Foster a positive, patient-centered environment and collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocols, ensuring proper patient identification and safety practices
• Individualize care based on surgical procedure, anesthesia type, and patient needs
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, pre- and post-operative care, and recovery expectations
• Support Pre Admission Testing (PAT) by evaluating orders and ensuring timely completion of required tests
