Job DescriptionResponsible for assisting doctors and nursing staff to ensure that each patient’s basic needs are met. Daily tasks may include feeding, cleaning, and monitoring vital signs and health.
Principal Accountabilities- Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing.
- Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heights.
- Assists patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges, and ROM activities.
- Performs post-mortem care.
- Performs EKGs, phlebotomy, and blood glucose monitoring.
- Observes and reports changes in patients’ condition to the RN.
- Maintains phlebotomy equipment and inventory.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patient, compassionate nature.
- Ability to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and nurses.
- Proficiency in computer-based data management programs and information systems.
