Responsible for assisting doctors and nursing staff to ensure that each patient’s basic needs are met. Daily tasks may include feeding, cleaning, and monitoring vital signs and health.

• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, dressing.
• Obtains and records vital signs, weights, and heights.
• Assists patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges, and ROM activities.
• Performs post-mortem care.
• Performs EKGs, phlebotomy, and blood glucose monitoring.
• Observes and reports changes in patients’ condition to the RN.
• Maintains phlebotomy equipment and inventory.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• HS Diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Patient, compassionate nature.
• Ability to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and nurses.
• Proficiency in computer-based data management programs and information systems.
