Certification Details
- Assessment skills across all age groups from Pediatric to Geriatric with appropriate patient care.
- Competent clinical skills providing direct patient care and knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures.
- Maintains complete and accurate documentation including nursing process and patient education.
- Demonstrates professional practice responsibility and knowledge of policies and procedures.
- Responds professionally to patients, families, and co-workers promoting a cooperative patient care environment.
- Follows National Patient Safety Goals including Universal Protocol and patient identification.
- Knowledge of conditions, procedures, and equipment for surgical patients; individualizes care based on procedure and anesthesia.
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for directing patient care and prioritizing based on patient needs and condition changes.
- Assesses patient understanding of surgical procedures and provides pre-operative and postoperative education.
- Supports timely completion of patient testing and evaluates Pre Admission Testing orders for appropriateness.
Job Details
