We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to work 20 hours per week from 6:00 pm–11:00 pm and be on‑call from 11:00 pm–8:00 am. The role includes making patient rounds, reviewing charts, accepting admissions, revising medication orders, and responding to in‑house emergencies. Compensation is competitive with pro‑rated paid time off (PTO) benefits.

• Perform history & physical examinations (H&P) according to hospital guidelines.
• Assist physicians in the care and treatment of patients within licensure guidelines and provide consultation as needed.
• Handle crisis situations, de‑escalate conflicts, and support unit staff using effective communication techniques.
• Participate in seclusion and restraint procedures when required, demonstrating knowledge and skill for appropriate techniques.
• Follow standard precautions, infection control and safety policies; fulfill health‑care employee requirements including annual PPD.
• Maintain a safe environment, immediately address and report safety issues using hazard/maintenance forms.
• Engage in performance‑improvement programs: complete monitors, attend PI meetings, identify PI issues, and complete required education and training.
• Adhere to all department, HR, safety, EOC, infection control and other hospital policies and procedures at all times.
• Assist physicians in completing discharge summaries in a timely manner.
• Utilize CPC nursing standards of practice for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Identify abnormal diagnostic data and communicate findings to the physician; always display a professional attitude and act as a role model for nursing staff.
• Provide medication management as directed by the physician within licensure guidelines and work within scope of licensure and certification.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Licensed RN and a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, meeting all state requirements in New Jersey.
• 3–5 years of experience, including 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience.
