Position Summary
Our COOK (Per Diem) position presents an ideal opportunity for an energetic, motivated individual with prior experience working in a dietary or culinary setting. Prepares meals for patients, employees and special functions according to the approved menu cycle and production sheets.
Responsibilities- Education: High School Graduate/GED (Preferred)
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Serv Safe Certification: Required.
- Specialized
Skills:
Knowledge of basic therapeutic diets, food service sanitation, and food portion and waste control. - Knowledge of industrial kitchen operations and procedures, industrial equipment and utensils, and skill in utilizing such.
- Ability to cook in large quantities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
