As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Driver in Summit, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.
As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail, combined with exceptional customer service and communication skills, will help create a welcoming atmosphere for all. This is a driving post, where you will be responsible for conducting patrols and responding to situations as needed, while embodying our values of teamwork and integrity.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns within the commercial real estate environment.
- Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed for incident escalation or emergency response.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
