Technician Fiber Installation – Prince Telecom LLC

At Prince Telecom, a Technician Fiber Installation will set up, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic networks that keep our customers connected. The role includes installing and configuring equipment, identifying and resolving customer‑perceived issues, and ensuring all services are delivered with quality and reliability.

What You’ll Do
  • Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone services per guidelines.
  • Install, set up, and configure all equipment.
  • Identify and remedy sources of customer‑perceived issues.
  • Review all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement.
  • Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.
  • Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment.
  • Work overtime, travel, and perform on‑call/after‑hours responsibilities as needed.
  • Perform work in all weather conditions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
  • High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
  • Valid state driver's license (cannot be provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Abilities & Exposures
  • Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces, work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; perform fine hand motions, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
  • Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse.
