Truck Driver CDL A

Position Overview

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Sumner, WA. The role involves delivering local home daily within a 100‑mile radius.

• Pay: $1240 or more per week (approx. $31.00 per hour)
• Hours:
  
  50+ per week, Monday–Friday; every other weekend
• Startup: 7:00‑8:00 AM
• Paid training

• Boot allowance provided
• Paid PTO starts Day 1 – 80 hours accrued in first year; unused hours paid out
• Medical, Dental, Vision start at 30 days
• 12 weeks paid maternity leave (qualifying)

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards, maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by customers
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass background and motor‑vehicle check (last 3 years)
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A experience: 9 months within past 3 years, or 2 years within last 5 years, or 5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and understand regulations, laws, and policies
