Payand Benefits
- Pay Rate: $80,000 to $125,000 per year for qualified candidates, depending on experience.
- Pay Rate while in training: $55,000 to $70,000 per year.
- Sign‑on bonus:
Up to $15,000 depending on experience. - Schedule:
3rd shift overnight position. - Day 1 Benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, and company‑paid life insurance.
- Paid holidays: earn vacation time and sick leave accrual from day one.
- 401(k) profit sharing plan after 90 days.

- Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
- Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off‑hour delivery.
- Drive tractor‑trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
- Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
- Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
- Other duties as assigned.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A).
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
- Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks effectively and safely, including understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
