Land Surveyor

Overview

An established firm is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor for site civil engineering projects. This position is an in-office position working with the project team.

• Responsible for translating projects between the office and the field
• Prepare property legal documents
• Directing all duties of field survey members assigned to them while performing field activities such as: construction staking, boundary, ALTA, topographic, and more
• Work directly with other team members, mentoring and leading
• Perform survey calculations for property boundaries
• Types of surveys performed:
  Construction Staking, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Route Surveys, Topographic Surveys
• Monitoring projects from start to finish, interacting with clients
• Build and maintain positive client relationships

• 5 years of experience
• PLS
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson, Trimble, etc
• A strong record demonstrating the ability to increase professional responsibilities throughout the professional career
• Well-connected and well-respected in the marketplace, with an ability to bring in clients and work to the firm
