Qualifications- Applicants must hold a current and valid Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) certificate.
- Applicants must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related area from a regionally accredited college or university.
- At least two years of experience working with adolescents in the public school setting is desired.
- Applicant must be proficient with use of Internet and Microsoft Office.
- Assist schools in promoting the goals of quality career development of students.
- Assist school counselors and students in identifying and accessing career information and resource material.
- Provide educators, parents, and students with information on career and technology education programs offered in the district.
- Support students in the exploration of career clusters and the selection of an area of academic focus within a cluster of study.
- Assist with the selection, administration, and evaluation of career interest inventories.
- Assist schools in planning and developing parent information on career development for parents.
- Coordinate and provide appropriate community resources representing a variety of occupations in career development activities for parents, teachers, and students.
- Assist with the usage of computer assisted career guidance systems.
- Work with others consistently in a cooperative and respectful manner.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
