• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• Valid South Carolina teacher’s certificate in Elementary or Secondary Science.

• Alternatives such as PACE/Teachers of Tomorrow Statement of Eligibility are welcome and will be considered.

• Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated locations and times.
• Plan a program of study that meets students’ individual needs, interests, abilities, and aligns with state standards.
• Establish clear objectives for classroom activities and communicate them to students.
• Employ various instructional techniques and media suited to the physical location and student needs.
• Create a conducive learning environment using effective classroom management strategies.
• Implement the District’s educational philosophy and instructional goals through teaching and actions.
• Take necessary precautions to ensure safety of students, equipment, and facilities.
• Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law and district policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

190 days; salary and work year to be established by the Board.

Performance will be evaluated according to the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
