* Engineer, design and implement Unified Communications/Collaboration voice/video network, systems, and services (e.g., Cisco Unified Communications Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Cisco Unity, Connection & Unity Express, Dial Plans, Calling Search Spaces and Partitions, Call Admission Control, Voice Gateways, and other Session Border Controllers).
* Maintain a strong understanding of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), H.323, Solutions for Suggested Corridors Program (SCCP) protocols and codecs and be able to implement and integrate into new and existing network environments.
* Identify and troubleshoot VoIP and Video QoS issues and recommend and implement mitigation strategies.
* Troubleshoot escalated issues to identify and repair complex network issues for WAN, LAN, Voice, and Video.
* Maintain knowledge of QoS and Call Admission Controls (CACs) and skills in troubleshooting complex networks regarding call routing and gateways.
* Analyze a myriad of networking metrics and recognize sub-par network performance.
* Develop reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security incidents.
* Provide General IT Management support.
* Provide General Networking support.
* Provide LAN support.
* Provide WAN Enterprise support.
* Provide technical and general O&M support as required.
* Provide documentation/reports support as required.
* Provide meetings/briefings support as required.
* Provide functional training support as required.
* Provide OCONUS deployment/TDY travel support as required.
* Provide CONUS TDY support as required. Qualifications Qualifications
* B.S. in related field and 5 or more years' relevant IT experience OR 7 or more years' relevant IT experience.
* Knowledge of what constitutes a "threat" to a network.
* Skill in providing feedback to enhance future collection and analysis.
* Must possess experience and demonstrate an understanding of Microsoft server installation, roles, active directory, storage, performance management, and maintenance. Certifications
