Process​/Equipment Engineer

We’re partnering with a global, highly regulated manufacturing organization that is expanding its operations in Sumter County, SC and investing in process optimization and equipment modernization. This is a hands‑on engineering role supporting high‑volume manufacturing in an environment where quality, compliance, and continuous improvement are critical.

• Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes and production equipment
• Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and change controls
• Develop and maintain process documentation (SOPs, work instructions, process flows)
• Execute equipment qualifications and process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
• Analyze process data to identify trends and drive corrective actions
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams
• Ensure adherence to quality systems, regulatory, and EHS requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, Industrial, or related)
• 2–5 years of process or equipment engineering experience in high‑volume manufacturing
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., ISO, GMP)
• Familiarity with change control, validation, and documentation practices
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical tools
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
