Certified Medical Assistant – Adult and Family Medicine

Join Tandem Health as a Certified Medical Assistant in our Adult and Family Medicine practice. Your role will support patient care and clinic efficiency.

• Prepare and maintain patient rooms, including stocking and cleaning.
• Prep patients for exam and treatment: vital signs, weight, height, head circumference, hearing and vision screens, and lab work including finger/heel sticks and venipuncture (if certified).
• Record patient information in medical records and lab logs.
• Assist with supply ordering and maintenance.
• Assist with medical records maintenance as needed.
• Improve patient flow through the office.
• Assist licensed staff with lab results tracking and follow‑up.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in all encounters.
• Assist in providing PI reports to improve the quality of patient care.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Clinical Manager.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• Certification required: CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT). Other certifications (CCMA, NRCMA, NCMA) may be considered.
• Current CPR certification required.
