Responsibilities- Analyze a wide array of networking metrics and recognize substandard network performance.
- Perform analysis for collaboration of network/system needs and participate in planning, designing, upgrading and deployment of enterprise datacenter hardware, software and services using a project‑based timeline.
- Develop reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security incidents.
- Make expert decisions and recommendations on how to resolve, improve, or prevent network problems/issues.
- Engineer, implement, and sustain network monitoring and management tools and ensure tools are properly functioning and collecting network telemetry and performance metrics to support troubleshooting and analysis functions. Develop and update IT systems concept of operations and engineering plans.
- Submit daily performance reports and ensure automated performance tools are functioning correctly. Use databases and spreadsheets to manage data for performance analysis. Manage file storage and safeguard data.
- Coordinate all efforts closely with Modeling and Simulation, Cybersecurity, and Networks to prevent overlap or conflicts of efforts, and deliver a single performance report daily.

- Provide WAN enterprise support.
- Provide technical and general O&M support as required.
- Provide documentation/reports support as required.
- Provide meetings/briefings support as required.
- Provide functional training support as required.
- Provide OCONUS deployment/TDY travel support as required.
- Provide CONUS TDY support as required.
- B.S. in a related field and 5 or more years’ relevant IT experience (preferred) or 7 or more years’ relevant IT experience.
- Solar Winds, Net Scout, and Unix/Linux experience.
- Ability to integrate automated capabilities for updating or patching system software where practical and develop processes and procedures for manual updating and patching of system software based on current and projected patch timeline requirements for the operational environment of the system.
- Must possess experience and demonstrate an understanding with installation of Microsoft Windows Server in host and compute environments, and Windows Server using server images.
- Experience with implementation of storage solutions, high availability, Domain Name Systems (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), network connectivity and remote access solutions, core and distributed network solutions, advanced network infrastructure, and maintain and monitor server environments.
- Secret Clearance required.

- Solar Winds Certified Professional
- Nutanix Certified Associate (NCA)
- ITIL Foundation (candidate has up to 60 days to acquire the certification)
