Trinity United Methodist Church (TUMC) in Sumter, South Carolina, is seeking an energetic and engaging leader to serve the church as a full-time Director of Youth Ministries. This exciting position is instrumental in executing the mission of the church to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World.
The Director of Youth Ministries will collaborate with the Pastor and the church staff to build a Youth Program that introduces young people to Christ; mentors them on the path to spiritual growth; and teaches them to serve Christ.
The Director will assist parents and guardians in raising their teenagers to a wholesome maturity, and serve as the vital link to build relationships between our youth and young adults to make lifelong servants of God.
