A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Injection Molding Quality Inspector. This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full‑time hours (40+ per week).
Details and CompensationLocation:
Sumter, SC 29153 – 100% on‑site
Payrate: $18/hr
Required Availability:
Full‑Time | 7:00PM – 7:00AM
Rotating 12‑hour schedule: 3days on / 2off / 2on / 3off (includes weekends)
Summary and HighlightsThe Injection Molding Quality Inspector monitors and inspects injection molding products and processes to ensure compliance with specifications and quality system standards. This role performs testing and measurement checks, documents inspection results, and escalates nonconformance issues to support consistent product quality in a climate‑controlled manufacturing environment. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.

Responsibilities- Perform complete inspection of product prior to release according to applicable specifications
- Apply statistical sampling plans and contain/inspect hold product as required by specifications
- Conduct various testing procedures and support simple statistical analysis as needed
- Use measurement devices (ex: calipers, go/no‑go gauges, optical comparators, digital force gauges, rules) to verify product meets requirements
- Record inspection results and audit findings on forms and/or in a quality system (SAP Quality Module)
- Report product nonconformance issues to quality/production leadership
- Monitor process controls and identify potential quality trends where applicable
- Maintain adherence to safety, environmental, and quality system standards
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) - Attendance:
Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. - 6 months of QA experience or quality experience required
- Comfortable working in a Windows‑based computer environment and completing electronic documentation
- Ability to learn and use measurement/inspection tools as required
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow site safety and quality policies
