Caris Health Care is hiring a Hospice Sales Representative to develop and maintain working relationships with referral sources and professional community contacts to increase access to hospice care for terminally ill patients. Pay is $60,000 - $70,000 yearly, depending on experience. The Representative is responsible for meeting market share goals.

- Identify new referral sources using corporate resources and community contacts.
- Collaborate with Regional Director, Sales & Marketing to develop, implement and evaluate quarterly territory plans.
- Develop and follow a call plan to achieve pre‑established objectives; conduct a minimum of 40 sales calls and presentations each week and generate referrals by building long‑term business partnerships.
- Use sales techniques for opening, probing needs, presenting, handling objections and closing.
- Meet admission targets consistently on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Maintain key business accounts and build relationships with prospective accounts by following up with individuals as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain relationships with nursing homes, physician offices, discharge planners, hospitals and the hospice team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Healthcare, Business or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of the sales process in a health care environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; outgoing, perceptive, self‑motivated and able to work harmoniously with diverse groups.
- Willingness to travel overnight as required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to function efficiently in a stressful work environment.
