Job Description The Auto Body Technician’s primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair of each vehicle to restore it back to pre-accident condition. The technician disassembles, repairs, and reassembles each vehicle while supporting our promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence.
Key Job Responsibilities- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
- Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
- Repair dents and minor body damage, mix and apply filler resins when necessary.
- Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
- Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; replace or repair glass and windshields.
- Replace or repair interior parts as needed.
- Weld and attach parts; prepare and repaint vehicles with factory‑specified or agreed‑upon paint.
- Attempt to complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect vehicles after repair.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3‑year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
Skills and Abilities
- Read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with other repairers in an auto body shop.
- Understand methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
- Use tools required for the trade.
- Work safely in a noisy area with many odors.
- Lift up to 30 pounds at times.
- Visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.
- Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.

Compensation$20 – $25 / Hour Flat Rate. Flat Rate Compensation is a performance‑based structure directly tied to turned hours.
