Nutrition Technician
. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about patient care and nutrition services. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing patients with menu selections, tray service, and ensuring patient satisfaction with dietary and food services. Our Nutrition Technicians are a very important part of our hospital staff, working directly with patients to support their nutritional needs and recovery.

Working as a Nutrition Technician, the environment can be very fast-paced and requires attention to detail. This role involves a lot of walking, standing, and interaction with patients throughout the day. You must be prepared for new challenges, have great communication skills with your team and medical staff, and be able to work independently while following established routines.

Schedule: 4 shifts of 5 hours 5:30-12 or 3:30-8pm
Weekend and holiday are required in this role.

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing patients with menu and tray/patient meal service, for receiving and forwarding patient requests and communication to dietary staff when appropriate. Works to provide patient satisfaction with dietary and food services. This position is responsible for the diet office processes and may provide lead responsibility for diet office in absence of supervisor including making assignments for position coverage.
COREFUNCTIONS
Provides patients with standard information for prescribed diet. Requests Dietary staff assistance when needed.
