Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant will support the dentist during procedures, assist with operatory setup & breakdown, take radiographs, manage infection control, provide patient education, and ensure a positive patient experience.

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
• Set up and break down operatory after each patient
• Take dental radiographs (x‑rays)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to manage infection control
• Provide patients with follow‑up instructions after all dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

• Work‑Life Balance:
  Tuesday‑Thursday 7:30 AM‑5:00 PM;
  Friday 7:30 AM‑3:00 PM
• Up to 3 weeks PTO + 8 paid holidays (PTO rolls over)

$21‑22 / hour

• Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify

This is a clinical working environment with potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood‑borne pathogens. The role requires prolonged standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Carrying, transporting, and using tools and equipment is necessary, with a lifting requirement of up to 15 pounds at times.
