A Typical Day
As a Multi-Unit Team Leader, you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You’ll lead customer-centric teams to accelerate their seasonal tax business, deliver an outstanding client experience, and achieve office growth objectives. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. You will start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time from January to April, including evenings and weekends as needed.

This role is in-person and not remote.

• Provide leadership over three tax offices and customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business
• Serve as the front-line manager for leadership and development of associates
• Deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office growth objectives for three offices
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates
• Create associate work schedules across all offices and manage timekeeping and labor across offices
• Travel between offices as required
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment*

• People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates
• Demonstrated aptitude for growth plan execution and leading toward a growth culture
• Strong decision-making and judgment in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
• Computer proficiency in MS Office
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)

• Multi-unit people management experience in retail, restaurant, banking, or related fields
