Post Doctoral Fellow in Fluid Biomarkers for Neurodegeneration

Position SummaryThis post‑doctoral research position focuses on identifying and analyzing biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and related disorders. The successful candidate will conduct innovative, high‑quality research, design and execute experiments, prepare manuscripts, and present findings.
Core Functions- Leads portions of research projects: planning, designing, conducting, analyzing, and interpreting data. Collects, organizes, records data for manuscript preparation.
- Participates in grant and manuscript writing.
- Prepares timely reports on research findings in peer‑reviewed publications and scientific presentations.
- Forms collaborative relationships inside and outside the organization to increase research capabilities, resources, and funding opportunities.
- Works directly under the supervision of a designated lab head, gaining experience as an independent researcher.
- Ph.D. or M.D.
- Previous research experience, training, or coursework in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques, research methods, and data collection.
- Strong communication, organization, and data analysis skills.
- Good rapport with other departmental personnel.
- Additional related education and/or experience.
Schedule:
Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM
