Golf Irrigation Technician - Full Time - West Valley

RIVERVIEW GOLF COURSE, Sun City

Pay rate: Determined based on experience

Job summary: Maintains, repairs, and rebuilds components of the golf course irrigation system.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Records pump readings.
• Monitors effectiveness of individual sprinklers.
• Troubleshoots and overhauls irrigation system components.
• Determines and maintains adequate irrigation parts supply.
• Performs daily clean up of work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/

Experience:

• Minimum one year of golf course maintenance
• Irrigation repair experience preferred
• Must know the game of golf

Skills & Abilities:

• Working knowledge of methods, practices, material and tools used in irrigation repairs.
• Knowledge of efficient water management.
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor in a variety of weather and working conditions.
• Working knowledge of basic electricity and hydraulics relating to irrigation systems.
