Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr
Summary of PositionThe Dietary Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the dietary services department, ensuring the nutritional needs of patients are met with safe, palatable, and appropriate food. Coordination with nursing services, sanitation, and food handling are essential.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and supervise the operations of the dietary services department.
- Prepare menus and manage special diets.
- Maintain menus, order supplies, and verify invoices.
- Set work schedules for staff.
- Ensure sanitary standards and proper food handling.
- Meet with patients to assess their dietary needs and maintain records.
- Promote a culture of service excellence.
- Maintain high ethical and professional standards.
- Ensure compliance with training, licensure, and policies.
- Protect confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Follow all relevant laws and standards.
