Make Manufacturing Better. Every Day. We’re looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvement, support new product introduction and help take manufacturing performance to the next level.

You’ll work across operations, supply chain and design engineering, turning ideas into efficient, cost-effective and repeatable manufacturing processes.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement across production.
  • Develop and implement Standard Work, SOPs, routings and visual factory standards.
  • Improve manufacturing flow using 5S, 7 Wastes, one-piece flow, Visual Management and balanced assembly lines.
  • Analyse production data, identify bottlenecks and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Establish and optimise product cycle times.
  • Lead improvement projects and CAPEX linked to new processes and products.
  • Support NPI, from initial introduction through to full production.
  • Develop and optimise cost-effective manufacturing processes.
  • Create and maintain PFMEAs, process maps and control plans.
  • Provide hands‑on engineering support to production, including NCRs, concessions, engineering changes and MRB activities.
  • Support product transfers and ensure robust manufacturing processes throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Work with engineering teams on documentation changes and parts obsolescence.
  • Mentor production leaders and help develop better assembly and test methods.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years’ experience in aerospace, automotive or a closely related manufacturing environment.
  • Proven Manufacturing Engineering experience within an electro‑mechanical environment.
  • Strong experience in NPI and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Practical knowledge of Standard Work, PFMEA, control plans and process mapping.
  • Experience with 5 Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa and 8D problem‑solving techniques.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Understanding of SPC, Gauge R&R and Design of Experiments (DOE).
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving ability.
  • The confidence to lead improvement initiatives and influence others.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
The Opportunity

This is a role for someone who wants to make a visible impact.

You’ll have the opportunity to improve processes, reduce waste and cost, support exciting new product introductions and help shape how products are manufactured.

You’ll also be encouraged to explore AI and digital tools that can improve productivity, decision‑making, quality and cost — while applying good judgement to validate the results.

If you’re a Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys solving real‑world problems and turning improvements into results, we’d like to hear from you
